RK Music Workshops started in 2017 when founder Robyn Keech graduated from Leeds College of Music. A local Scarborough girl, she has returned to her roots and begun creating workshops in August. For years Robyn has been trained in various singing styles, as well as instruments, music theory, performance, songwriting and so on. All working towards bringing back all the knowledge and information from the amazing people she has met along her journey and now giving back to her much-valued community and next generation of performers!

RK Music Workshops has been created to bring people together who enjoy being surrounded by music. Finding the firm roots we have instilled within us as humans we will further confidence, musical knowledge, lifelong friendships and also offer support for those who wish to continue music as a career. RK Music Workshops is for everyone! From Mums and tots, to young adults, people living with learning difficulties, right through to those of a mature nature… All different workshops will be available and through specifically catered exercises everyone will be able to achieve something through us. We are enthusiastic individuals who have trained in different aspects of music, popular music, musical theatre, classical, performance, composition and so on all to bring back into the community for the growth of a united support structure for other participants to thrive in day to day lives.

 

RK Musical Workshops stand apart from all the rest, not only do we offer various different packages open to anyone and everyone in the community; we also are available to come to you! Whether it be your school hall, the band room you have created to make music with aspiring musicians, or simply to a community-based group you run already as a new pathway into the arts.
